Breaking Conventions
The hermeneutic magazine was a collaboration between Sebastian Mayer and me starting in 2022. It's a self-published series that appeared quarterly. The topic was to publish photographs from Sebastian Mayer's Facebook archive. For me, this project was about breaking conventions in layout. There's an issue that deliberately dispenses with a layout. Then there are texts overlaid on images and image grids. I did everything you shouldn't do to design a magazine.
